Hiring: Baird, CIC and more

Here is the latest roundup of financial institutions rumored and reported to be hiring:

Robert W. Baird & Co. and Luxury Mortgage Corp. are poaching talent from their rivals, according to The Wall Street Journal.

China Investment Corp. has been hiring experienced fund managers, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Stephens Inc. has been increasing its investment banking staff by 40%, according to FINS. Moelis & Co. LLC, Jefferies & Co., RBC Capital Markets Corp., Evercore Partners, Cowen & Co., Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. and Broadpoint Gleacher Securities Group Inc. have also ramped up hiring.
