Here is the latest roundup of financial institutions rumored and reported to be hiring:
William Blair & Co. LLC is expanding its institutional, intermediary and mutual fund businesses, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. and Daiwa Securities Group Inc. are recruiting i-bankers, according to FINS. In fact, BusinessWeek says Sumitomo Mitsui's investment banking unit will hire 40 bankers by April.
J. P. Morgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE:GS) are hiring in Russia, according to BusinessWeek.
Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC) and UBS (NYSE:UBS) are hiring bankers in London, according to BusinessWeek.
Bank of America is also hiring in wealth management and for the management of Merrill Lynch & Co.'s pension funds, foundations and endowments, according to the Charlotte Business Journal and The Business Times.
