Hiring and Layoffs: Morgan Keegan and Wells Fargo

Here is the latest roundup of financial institutions rumored and reported to be hiring and laying off.

Morgan Keegan & Co. is forming an investment banking division, according to IDD.

The Irish financial regulator plans on hiring 160 people this year, according to eFinancialCareers.

Restructuring & Investment Banking: Associate & Analysts

Although many financial institutions are hiring there are still layoffs at several institutions, including Wells Fargo Advisors. The brokerage unit is shutting down five offices in Paraguay,  Chile, Argentina and Uruguay, according to FINS.
