Hiring: Barclays and more

Last week  jobless claims rose to 484,000, according to CNBC. Unemployment may be still rising, but there are some places hiring out there. Here is the latest roundup of financial institutions rumored and reported to be hiring.

Barclays Wealth is recruiting 650 people, according to eFinancial Careers.

Samuel A. Ramirez & Co., Inc has been hiring in municipal finance, according to PR Newswire.
