Hiring: UBS, Blackstone and more

Here is the latest roundup of financial institutions rumored and reported to be hiring.

Bank of America Corp.'s Merrill Lynch (NYSE:BAC) and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney (NYSE:MS) are trying to attract more brokers with bigger pay packages, according to Reuters.

Blackstone is hiring in Australia, according to Reuters.

Standard Chartered Bank is hiring as many as 2,500 people for its Indian operations, according to The Rupee Times.

UBS AG will likely start hiring in equity derivatives, according to eFinancial Careers.

CIBC World Markets has been hiring in currency and fixed income in Europe, according to Globe Investor.
