As expected, William Boardman will not seek another term as director at Bank of America Corp.'s annual meeting of shareholders in May. Boardman was chairman of Visa International Inc. from 1996 until his retirement in 2005. In March, BofA appointed Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of India-based Reliance Industries Ltd. as a board director. He will stand for election in May.
BofA's proxy filing (PDF download) also came in Wednesday. CEO Brian Moynihan made $1.94 million in 2010, compared to $6.5 million in 2009. Moynihan received no stock award, which made up most of the difference. Other executive compensation numbers included chief financial officer Charles Noski, $1.1 million; president of consumer and small business banking Joe Price, $917,000; chief accounting officer Neil Cotty, $4.1 million; president of global wealth and investment management Sallie Krawcheck, $6.2 million; general counsel Edward O'Keefe, $1.8 million; chief risk officer Bruce Thompson (pictured), $11.4 million; and president of global banking and markets Thomas Montag, $831,000.
Separately, the Merrill Lynch division tapped Craig Reynolds as head of North American interest-rate trading. He was with Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Also, Peter Antico was named head of G-10 currency trading and Chris Hodson becomes head of rates trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
