Citigroup Inc. named Hong Kong-based Jonathan Larsen as global head, retail banking. He will continue as head of Asia consumer banking.
Larsen joined Citi in 1998. In April 2005, he was named country business manager and CEO for the consumer banking business in Singapore. In September 2008, he became country head and Citi country officer for Singapore and CEO of Citibank Singapore Ltd. In October 2009, Larsen was named head of consumer banking and global cards, Asia Pacific.
Credit Suisse Group's Steven Latimer joined Jefferies & Co. as head of Canadian investment banking, initially focusing on mining and metals. He was Credit Suisse's head of Canadian metals and mining investment banking, based in Toronto. Previously, Latimer spent 15 years at UBS Securities LLC in investment banking, working from Toronto and Calgary.
ING Investment Management Asia Pacific appointed Nityanand Prabhu as acting CEO of ING Investment Management India, replacing Navin Suri , who has decided to continue his career outside India. Prabhu has been with ING IM India for five years, most recently as chief operating officer.
Southlake, Texas, private equity firm Insight Equity Holdings LLC tapped Neal Jain, Garrett Greer, Luke Bateman and Fraser Desmond as associates. Jain was an analyst in the investment banking division at Lazard; Greer focused on middle market private equity and private debt transactions at American Capital Ltd.; Bateman was with Lone Star Investment Advisors; and Desmond joined from Macquarie Capital.
Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP made Paul Mahoney and Alan Roth two of the three co-chairmen of its private equity and venture capital practice. They join James Barrett.

Private equity partner Catherine Shirley joined Berwin Leighton Paisner's corporate finance practice in London. She comes from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and has worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
In Washington, McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP said litigator Robert Nissen joined the firm as a partner in its intellectual property and technology practice, focusing on patent litigation. He was managing partner at his firm, Nissen & Associates.
AlixPartners appointed Nicolas Lioliakis as a managing director in its global financial services practice, based in Paris. Lioliakis joined from Bain & Co., where he was a senior partner since 2006 and was client head for European financial institutions. Before that, he was a director and market manager for France at Mercer Oliver Wyman (now Oliver Wyman), where he was co-head of the European strategy practice.
Dechert LLP announced that Jeremy Trinder joined the firm as a partner in the finance and real estate practice, resident in the firm's London office. Trinder was most recently a partner at White & Case LLP.
Haynes and Boone LLP welcomed litigation attorney Jamie McDole as a partner from the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP named Nicholas Fagge and Kerrie Walsh as partners in the firm's London office. Fagge advises investment management clients on the structuring of U.K. management companies, and covers mergers and acquisitions. Walsh focuses her practice on U.S. and U.K. financial services law and regulations affecting investment managers and investment funds.
Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP said Yury Kapgan, formerly of Latham & Watkins LLP, joined the firm as a partner in Los Angeles. Kapgan specializes in intellectual property matters.
