Harry Hampson was named head of financial sponsors for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. He replaced Karen Simon, who returned to the U.S. as vice chairwoman of oil and gas. Hampson was previously head of technology, media and telecommunications advisory for EMEA and co-head of global media in the investment banking department. He has spent more than two decades at the firm and had been head of equity capital markets and head of the European equity syndicate desk before running the firm's media practice.


In New York, former Deutsche Bank AG high yield trading veteran Gregory Steele joined RBC Capital Markets as a director, trading industrials, forest products, paper and packaging and consumer products. Steele was a managing director at Macquarie Capital. From 1993 to 2009, he worked at Deutsche, where he was a managing director.


Aflac Inc. tapped Timothy Stevens as managing director and global head of trading in the investment division, a new position. He reports to first senior vice president and global chief investment officer Eric Kirsch. Stevens will join on June 12 in New York. He was most recently a managing director and head of fixed income trading for the Americas at BlackRock Investment Management LLC. Prior to that, Stevens was a managing director and head of U.S. fixed income trading for Barclays Global Investors in San Francisco. He previously worked at Deutsche Bank AG.


Commercial real estate services company Avison Young brought in David Eyzenberg as a principal in its capital markets group, based in New York. Eyzenberg was a managing director and head of commercial real estate for NewOak Capital, where he completed property financing and commercial mortgage-backed securities/commercial real estate collateralized debt obligation valuation assignments.


Senior vice presidents Michael Coyne and Travis D'Amato joined the national multifamily investment sales practice of Jones Lang LaSalle in Boston. Coyne joins the firm from Recap Real Estate Advisors, while D'Amato has worked at CB Richard Ellis and WinnResidential.


Commercial real estate finance company Walker & Dunlop Inc. hired James Cope and Patrick Dempsey as senior vice presidents and will open an office in Milwaukee. Both were with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, where they originated and structured commercial real estate financing for all property types.


Yung Chung joined AlixPartners in Seoul as a managing director from McKinsey & Co., where he was a senior partner, specializing in corporate growth strategies and mergers and acquisitions advisory. Prior to joining McKinsey in 2007, Chung spent 13 years at A.T. Kearney, most recently as managing director of Korea operations and leader of its Asia operations practice. His career at A.T. Kearney also included six years in Los Angeles and London, where he was a partner in the European operations practice.


Robert W. Baird & Co. recruited Robert Rosenfeld as a director on its consumer investment banking team, based in Chicago. Rosenfeld was a director in the mergers and acquisitions group for BMO Capital Markets in Chicago, focusing on middle market food, consumer and retail clients.


F&C Investments recruited Mandy Mannix as head of institutional sales. Mannix will join on July 1 from CQS UK, where she is global head of sales and marketing. Prior to that, she was global head of capital introductions at Nomura Holdings Inc. She held the same role for five years at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and held institutional sales positions at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in Australia.


Kevin Hudson joined Grant Thornton LLP as the firm's national private equity services managing director. Hudson was a national director with RSM McGladrey Inc.'s private equity services group and was its regional PE leader for the Northeast and Southeast regions.


Law and government affairs firm Davidoff Malito & Hutcher LLP changed its name to Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP. Jeffrey Citron, co-managing partner and chairman of the real estate group, is responsible for the firm's administrative and management functions.
