Credit Suisse Group expanded its fixed-income business in Asia-Pacific, adding nine sales and trading specialists. Chunlei Wu joins as a managing director and head of flow rates sales, China. He was at Deutsche Bank AG. Previously, Wu worked at the State Administration of Foreign Exchange of China for 12 years. Vishal Sodha was appointed director and head of credit sales, non-Japan Asia. He spent 11 years at Citigroup Inc., most recently as director, fixed-income investor sales in Hong Kong. From UBS, Theresa Wong joins as a director and head of fixed-income sales, Hong Kong. Hong Nam Yeoh comes in as a director to cover financial institutions and corporates in Malaysia, based in Singapore. Yeoh was with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Hunter Jamieson is a director in the global FX sales team in Singapore. He was a director with Barclays Capital, Sydney, responsible for corporate and institutional FX for Australia and New Zealand. Richard Cohen joins as a director and head of credit trading Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong. He joins from Morgan Stanley, where he worked for seven years, mostly recently as head of Asia and Japan credit and convertible trading. Bevan Harris joins the non-Japan Asia rates trading team as a director in London, where he will be the implant trader for AUD/NZD derivatives. Harris joins from Royal Bank of Canada. Before that, he was with Bank of New Zealand. Deutsche Bank's John Camara joined Credit Suisse as a director in the FX spot trading team, based in Singapore. Credit Suisse hired Matt Pecot in May as head of prime services and added Benjamin Happ as head of capital services in July. In June, it appointed Ken Pang and Min Park as co-heads of equity derivatives and convertibles, and Simon Yuan as co-head of financial institutions Greater China coverage in the investment banking department.
