Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc. hired Peter Kind as a senior managing director in its U.S. advisory and capital markets business, focusing on the power, utilities and renewable energy sectors.

Kind joins from Banc of America Securities LLC, where from 2005 he was a managing director and head of power corporate and investment banking. From 1997 to 2005, Kind was a senior member of the power team in Citigroup Inc.'s global energy, power and chemicals group, serving as the team's co-head from 2003 to 2005.

CVC Capital Partners appointed Robert Jenkins and Jim Sutcliffe (pictured) as senior advisers. They become members of the global financial institutions advisory board to support activities in the financial services sector.

Jenkins was CEO and chairman of F&C Asset Management plc and, prior to that, spent 16 years at Citibank NA and five years at Credit Suisse Group. Sutcliffe spent more than 30 years in the insurance and asset management industry, most recently as group CEO of Old Mutual plc.
