Hall of Fame legend Jim Brown talks 'unexciting players' in NFL draft, charitable giving

Published April 27, 2012 at 7:05 PM

NFL Hall of Fame legend Jim Brown came to the New York Stock Exchange to kick off United Athletes Foundation's annual charity weekend. The organization encourages athletes to give back to their communities, doing everything from rebuilding neighborhoods to teaching financial literacy. Explaining why he's passionate about the cause, Brown says, "So many of our young athletes are not only not contributing back to their community, but they're going bankrupt because they don't have the education on how to handle their money." In regards to Thursday, April 26's NFL draft, Brown says, "It's one of the most exciting drafts, but unexciting players." - Katie Roof
