Market volatility and tight credit continue to sideline buyers and sellers. In this edition of Inside The Deal, Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP's Jim Woolery tells Suzanne Stevens that strategics are choosing to wait out the instability and shelving deals that were in the pipeline. In a feature story in The Deal newsweekly, Woolery says that he expects M&A to remain sluggish through at least the end of the year, but due to pent-up demand, he expects a resurgence of dealmaking when the market finally settles.
