M&A Outlook 2009: Rosener and Loughlin on changes to the bankruptcy code

At the Deal's M&A Outlook 2009 conference, James Rosener, a partner of Pepper Hamilton LLP, and James Loughlin Jr., a principal managing director at Loughlin Meghji & Co., discussed the changes to the bankruptcy code that occurred two years ago. These changes have prompted many companies to hire chief restructuring officers, who are brought in to bridge the gap through operational and managerial issues.
