Inside The Deal: Deloitte's Scott Wilson on strategic alliances

Dealmakers know that strategic alliances can deliver substantial returns, but a recent study in the Harvard Business Review suggests alliances fail 60% to 70% of the time - and for a good reason. Alliances are a pain to negotiate and manage and present a host of risks to both partners. In this edition of Inside The Deal, Scott Wilson a senior manager of Deloitte Research speaks with The Deal's Suzanne Stevens about constructing alliances with staying power.
