Davis Polk's Schaible on 363 sales, Supreme Court

The Supreme Court's hearing of oral arguments in April on whether lenders must be allowed to credit-bid their debts in bankruptcy auctions is "an extremely important case," according to Damian Schaible, a partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. In this interview with The Deal Pipeline at the Wharton Restructuring and Turnaround Conference, Schaible lays out the significant effects the ruling could have on the markets and other ways that 363 sales are becoming more prevalent. - George White
