ING CEO defends euro

"The euro collapse is not an option," opines Jan Hommen, CEO of the bank and insurance giant ING Groep NV. For now, Europe "will have to take some tough medicine." ING, which has been selling some of its businesses to help repay its government debt, says that "the divestment process is going very well." Overall, says Hommen, "we have dramatically simplified our company." - Katie Roof
