NYSE Euronext explains acquisition strategy

Jean-Marc Levy, head of global issuer services at NYSE Euronext, explains the strategy behind its recent acquisition of Corpedia Corp., a provider of ethics and compliance consultative services. Says Levy, the acquisition of Corpedia is "very consistent with our strategy to offer value-added services for all of our publicly traded companies." The plan is to continue making acquisitions, he says. "You're going to see more acquisitions of companies that are leaders in their spaces." - Katie Roof
