Bankruptcy filings are down

The Deal Pipeline's Bankruptcy League Tables show "a lot fewer filings this quarter," says Kimberly Ghorm, associate statistics editor. Ghorm says the decrease in filings is because the recession is over. She tells The Deal magazine's Mary Kathleen Flynn that bankruptcy cases are also wrapping up faster, due to prepackaged bankruptcy filings. - Katie Roof
