On Tuesday, June 3, our attention will be on two important shareholder meetings.
Delta Air Lines will hold its annual meeting, where shareholders will focus on the merger with Northwest Airlines.
At the Nymex Holdings Inc. special meeting, also on Tuesday, shareholders will likely push for a higher bid from CME Group Inc.
On Wednesday, June 4, Vaalco Energy Inc. will hold its annual meeting, where a battle for board seats with Nanes Delorme Partners LP is likely.
On Thursday, June 5, Sinosteel Corp.'s tender offer for Midwest Corp. closes.
And on Friday, June 6, the EU's decision on EMC Corp.'s purchase of Iomega Corp. is due.
