DEV's Alan McGlade on NYC's blossoming digital media scene

"There's been a migration of real talent into New York City," says Alan McGlade, a former MTV executive and now managing director of Digital Entertainment Ventures, a venture capital fund investing in digital media in New York City. However, McGlade adds, "There isn't the same kind of support infrastructure yet that there is on the West Coast" for digital media and entertainment companies in terms of funding. McGlade also discusses why DEV decided to recently invest in the company Stage It Corp. - Sarah Hashim-Waris
