Steve Case: Entrepreneurship 'made America great'

Published January 30, 2012 at 3:51 PM

"Entrepreneurship really is the core of what's made America great, and as a nation we need to support that," says Steve Case, chair of the Startup America Partnership LLC. Adds Case, "The government has a role to play as well. That's why we're encouraging pro-entrepreneurship legislation from Congress." Case, who rose to prominence as a co-founder of AOL, rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange with Scott Case (no relation), CEO of Startup America Partnership, to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the mentorship program.
