Greenbelt Backs Bowe & Gant Electrical Services

Greenbelt Capital Management LP on Monday, July 20, announced a majority investment in Bowe & Gant Electrical Services LLC, a provider of essential, nondiscretionary electrical and energy infrastructure services across the northeastern U.S.
Greenbelt didn’t disclose the terms of the transaction but said the investment will support Bowe & Gant’s expansion into a broader electrical and energy infrastructure platform while preserving its founder-led culture. Bowe & Gant’s co-founders will both retain a significant equity stake alongside Greenbelt and will continue to lead the company.
The Deal reported on June 24 that Bowe & Gant had hired William Blair & Co. LLC to advise on options including a sale or investment. Bowe & Gant generates around $20 million of Ebitda, The Deal reported.
Founded in 2014 by Vincent Bowe and Gabriel Gant, the company provides industrial and commercial electrical services in New Jersey, greater Philadelphia and Delaware. The company has more than 100 employees and a fleet of more than 40 trucks.
Bowe & Gant’s services include electrical maintenance, inspection and repair, electrical distribution equipment and sales, pole line construction and maintenance, transformer testing and repair, low voltage and specialty systems installation and maintenance and more.
Its client base includes data centers, private utilities, solar and renewable energy providers, cold storage and warehouses, healthcare and life sciences companies, universities, governments and food and beverage companies.
The company operates out of its two offices in Sewell, N.J. and Oakland, N.J.
Bowe & Gant acquired Carney Point, N.J.-based Jack Plale Electrical Contractors in 2017.

In June 2025, Greenbelt closed its inaugural fund, Greenbelt Capital Partners III LP, at its hard cap of $1 billion.
Earlier this month, Greenbelt, Tenex Capital Management LP and Trilantic Capital Partners LP portfolio company Unirac Inc. acquired the solar racking business of TerraSmart LLC, a company backed by Gibraltar Industries Inc., for $5 million. Greenbelt in April invested in American Wire Group LLC, a supplier of equipment and accessories for the power utility, renewable energy, data center, commercial and industrial markets.
Bowe & Gant tapped William Blair for financial advice and Alston & Bird LLP for counsel. Co-founder and CEO Bowe and president Gant were on the sale in-house.
Greenbelt used Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP for counsel. Greenbelt managing director Samuel Graham and principal Austin Major worked internally on the acquisition.
Weil also advised on the Unirac add-on.
